Veranoa holds classes in all weaving techniques. You can book in for one on one classes or for group sessions.
All Wananga are taught in a relaxed and informal environment at The Hetet Artspace, 58 Guthrie Street, Waiwhetu, Lower Hutt

All classes are limited to five students. In Kakahu, piupiu, taniko and hieke Wananga, students must have had prior harakeke weaving experience.
Teaching in 2013
Wananga: Kakahu. Whatu kakahu Wananga are held one weekend per month over a 10 month period. The first Wananga will be on 23 - 24 March 2013. Course costs : $1000. Students to gather own harakeke
Wananga : Piupiu. Classes will be held on Sundays February 17th, March 3rd, March 31st, April 28th 2013. Course costs $250 (This includes material costs. Students to gather own harakeke)
Wananga : Taniko. Learn to Taniko over a 3 day Wananga. Saturday 9th, Sunday 10th March and Sunday 7th April 2013 Course costs : $250 (This includes material costs)
Wananga : Hieke. Hieke Wananga will be held Sunday 9th, 16th, 30th June, 14th July, 4th August. Course costs : $250 (This cost does not include materials)
